南非迫遷我國使館　美國參眾議員紛紛聲援台灣

南非外交部要求台灣駐處在10月底前遷出首都普利托里亞，除了南非執政聯盟當中的政黨跳出來發表不同意見，美國的參眾議員也紛紛發聲挺台，美國眾議院外交委員會主席麥考爾（Michael McCaul）則呼籲南非要審慎思考與中共的關係，回到過去不結盟的狀態。

麥考爾透過社群平台X表示，對於南非迫使台灣將其辦事處遷出普利托里亞深感擔憂，並認為這顯然是中國共產黨脅迫、公然干涉其他國家事務的結果，他呼籲南非及其外交部長拉莫拉（Ronald Lamola）撤回這想錯誤的決定，重新評估與中國共產黨的關係，並回歸真正的不結盟立場。

參議員柯頓（Tom Cotton）也同樣在X平台指出，南非代表中國共產黨對台灣的攻擊行為令人深感不安且極不恰當，他與所有阿肯色州人民堅決支持台灣，面對來自中國共產黨的欺凌及其爪牙，將堅定地站在台灣一邊。

麥考爾與柯頓都曾訪台，並與當時眾院外交委員會主席安格爾（Eliot Enge）於2019年共同提出「2020年台灣保證法案」，法案於2020年12月通過，其內容旨在支持對台軍售常態化，協助我國加強自我防衛能力、支持台灣有意義參與國際組織。

另外，參議員布蕾波恩（Marsha Blackburn）昨（10/22）日也在X平台指出，美國不應該容忍南非的這種行為，她已向總統拜登（Joe Biden）表明，若南非與中國共謀，可將南非從非洲成長與機會法案（AGOA）中剔除，因為美國不能像優先考慮中國而非民主夥伴的國家加深經貿關係。

布蕾波恩為「參院台灣連線」成員，自擔任聯邦國會議員以來對台灣高度友好，曾多次連署友我聯名函，並曾在美國國會提出多項友台法案，支持授權美國總統以租借軍備方式協助強化台灣防衛能力，她曾於2022年率團訪台。
