【委內瑞拉強震】 濱海城市拉瓜伊拉幾近全毀　死傷難以估計

委內瑞拉在當地時間週三（24日）傍晚連續遭受規模7.2與7.5的強震侵襲，其中位於加勒比海濱的大城拉瓜伊拉（La Guaira），恐怕是災情最慘重地區。影像資料顯示這個人口27萬的區域大城幾乎全城盡毀，死傷恐怕非常慘重。

網路流傳的畫面顯示，拉瓜伊拉海濱的愛德華飯店（Hotel Eduard's），十層樓的建築完全夷為平地。

另外有震災發生時從海上船隻向拉瓜伊拉拍攝的影片，顯示這整個濱海城市幾乎全部陷入建築不斷倒塌垮下的煙霧中，宛如世界末日。

震後當地繼續流出的畫面顯示，街道上幾乎沒有一座完好的建築，沒垮的樓房，看起來也已經嚴重傾斜。道路兩旁不斷見到直接夷為平地的建築。

這場巨震的震央在委內瑞拉首都卡拉卡斯（Caracas）以西約160公里處，拉瓜伊拉則在卡拉卡斯以東約30公里。該城是委內瑞拉瓦爾加斯州首府，建城歷史接近500年。
